Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrive Cairo / Memphis / Sakkara / The Great Pyramids
Arrival to the land of the Pharaohs, At Cairo International Airport you will be welcome and assisted by Menatours representative, escorted to your hotel for Breakfast. At the morning you will start your tour by visiting Memphis served as the capital of Upper & Lower Egypt Some 5000 years ago during the 1st dynasty .Menes, the first Pharaoh of the dynasty, built a great white-walled palace and the Temple of Ptah, than visit Sakkara one of the most exciting historical and archaeological area in all of Egypt is Sakkara, situated about 12 miles South West of Cairo. The site is dominated by the famous step pyramids of king Zoser. It was the first pyramid to be built in ancient Egypt, preceding those at Giza by many centuries and it is the work of the famous pharaonic architect Imhotep, than visit The Pyramids and Sphinx were reckoned by the Greeks to be ne of the Seven Wonders of the World. A single pyramid is built of 2, 300,00- blocks , each weighing an average of two and one half tones. In the face of such immensity, one cannot help but feel the wonder and awe that so many writers and artists have sought to convey over the centuries. The Cheops Pyramid is especially interesting since its interior burial chamber are open for inspection by the public. Not far from the Pyramids is the Great Sphinx of Giza , which dates from the time of Chephren (2620BC) Hewn from natural yellowish limestone and standing 65 feet high and 187 feet long , this unforgettable statue combines the head of a pharah with lion’s body.(B,L,D)

Day 2 - Cairo / The Egyptian Museum / Citadel / Khan El Khalili
 Breakfast at your hotel start your tour by passing by El Tharir Square where has been the traditional site for numerous major protests and demonstrations in the last few years, visiting the Egyptian Museum, the most depository of Egyptian antiquities anywhere in the world. it features artifacts from the Pharaonic and Greco-Roman periods, including the celebrates mummies of ancient Egypt’s king and Tut Ankh Amun treasures. After that visiting The Citadel which is among the world’s most splendid monuments of medieval warfare was completed by Muhammad Ali Pasha by the end of the tour visit Khan El Khalili one of Cairo’s main attractions for tourists and Egyptians alike.(B,L,D)

Day 3 - Cairo / Old Cairo / Ben Ezra Synagogue / Final Departure
Breakfast start your tour by visiting Old Cairo which is part of Coptic Cairo that encompasses the Babylon Fortress , The Coptic Museum , The Hanging Church , the Greek church of St. George and many other Coptic churches and it is believed that the Holy Family visited this Area and stayed at the site of Saint Sergius and Abu Serga Church , continue the tour , visiting Ben Ezra Synagogue was built by CHIEF Rabbi in the late 9th century within the walls of the Fortress of Babylon , the Synagogue stands in a pleasant shady garden. The origins of the small Jewish commu8nity in Old Cairo are said to go back to the time of Moses. The existence of the synagogue , at any rate , is attested by the accounts of many travelers thus in the 12th century Benjamin of Tudela records that he visited the synagogue in Old Cairo and saw the Torah of Ezra the scribe.
